About me

I am a sound designer, sound recordist and musician from Iceland, based in Reykjavík. I graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2025, where I studied sound for film for four years. I also studied sound engineering at Stúdíó Sýrland in Reykjavík in 2016 and have since then been working freelance in various productions including films, television, commercials, and music. Alongside working as a sound designer and recordist I have been writing and performing music, both as a solo artist and with my band / multimedia duo Munstur. I am also a part of the stop-motion animation duo Stilla and our short film Kitchen by Measure has screened at various festivals and won several prizes.
